Soap Sculpture - Cold Process Soap
Hello Soaper friends!
I hope you are all doing well :)
This post is about a Soap Sculpture that I made a few days ago. I call it Soap Sculture because it looks like a sculpture when I place the soaps in different order.

The way the soap is molded and designed is different from our regular lay-out - instead of soaping horizontally, this soap is made vertically. This soap was made using a top view - what you see is what you get.
I used the Soap Mold Kit Adventure with 2 extra dividers placed and with thin polyproylene sheets folded in designs I thought looked interesting.
Here is short video I made with the pour and cutting:
This is my first video where I speak and left the voice on. I am still a bit shy and nervous about it :)
Here is the recipe I used for this soap:
Total oils: 700g (quantity for the Soap Mold Kit Adventure 60mm wide)
Olive oil 30%
Palm oil (bio) 25%
Coconut oil 20%
Avocado oil 10%
Shea butter 7%
Castor oil 5%
Cocoa butter 3%
Activated Charcoal - 1 Tbsp mixed with 1 Tbsp water
Zinc Oxide - 1 Tbsp mixed with 1 Tbsp water
Titanium dioxide -1/2 tsp mixed with 1 tsp water
Note: The water added to the activated charcoal, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide I discounted from the water I added to the lye.
EO
- Cedar
- Bergamot
- Peppermint
I use Soapcalc to run my recipes.
I have now placed my Soap Sculpture in my living room for decoration. I reorder them according to my mood (it is pretty relaxing, almost like soaping) and I don't care what my husband has to say about it :) lol
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Thank you and Happy Soaping,
Amanda
